ARRIVE SIA. BUS TERMINAL DI BRESCIA: FROM 7 OCTOBER \u201cCHANGE SHAPE\u201d Here is the new bus station in via Solferino.<\/p>\n

From Monday 7 October 2019, the new Brescia Bus Terminal will take shape with an innovative configuration.<\/p>\n

The bus station has been revised in the functional form of a “pass-through terminal” with three internal sectors equipped with a lane in which the stop spaces and a transit lane are located. Two sectors are dedicated exclusively to departures and one to arrivals. Each sector is delimited and equipped with dedicated sidewalk and pedestrian paths, with the aim of better regulating the movement of buses and the movement of passengers.<\/p>\n

The stop spaces, dedicated to departures, are easily recognizable thanks to the appropriate horizontal and vertical signs designed to facilitate travelers’ identification. The delimitation of pavements and \/ or pedestrian parking platforms is marked by the yellow line drawn on the ground that passengers must not cross during the waiting periods that precede boarding the buses. Similarly, stop spaces and pedestrian pavement dedicated to bus rides arriving at the Terminal are well defined.<\/p>\n

The departure areas are all accessible from pedestrian areas that longitudinally cross the entrances and exits of buses and that connect the terminal with the Railway Station and MetroBS. In the bus movement and maneuvering area, transit on foot and to any vehicle not authorized by the Bus Station Operating Directorate is prohibited inside the terminal.<\/p>\n

Near the pedestrian accesses there are information totems that provide visual information to direct passengers to the departure areas and access the services present in the Terminal and in the surrounding area. The starting sectors are identifiable by vertical signs near each respective stop area, the tables shown provide an indication of the combination, in principle, of the lines, services, destinations and operators with each stop area of \u200b\u200bthe departure sectors. The monitors in the waiting room and at the two main pedestrian entrances provide real-time information on scheduled departures and an indication of the related sector. Inside the Terminal, at various points, the graphic map is displayed for distribution at the internal ticket office.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
